Self-employed since 1997, Making Murals was set up as a community mural enterprise, promoting visual arts by and for the community. The first project I ran was back in 1986, on a tower block estate in South Acton, west London. That one was called 'The World Theme Mural'. It won first prize in a national community project run by Dulux. I've co-produced a few in and around London/Surrey, with young and old folk alike. Visual arts production was shelved when my youngest daughter came along, but the creative side of me is always on the go !

The logo was created with the help of a fellow eBayer for which I m very grateful. However, my profile logo is one of several I have painted in the past. First painted in 1981, the year I was both married and made redundant. It was quite a sad time really, told I may never have children and a short period with out work was spent in visual arts ventures. Little did I know then that it would be floating around cyber space 25 or so years later (and 5 children in tow!).
