At Helensclotheshorse we sell quality new and used clothing and shoes at rock bottom prices for all ages, shapes and sizes. We run 10 day auctions, adding new items every Friday evening, so keep an eye on our listings to spot a bargain! All new items are bought at wholesale or are repaired factory seconds this means we can guarantee you wont find them cheaper anywhere else. Used items are bought in bulk from local sellers, family and friends etc. We advertise locally for used clothing and buy in bulk so we can list them at the lowest prices possible.

I accept most payment methods. Cheque, postal orders etc. I will always accept payment on collection to avoid postage fees.

I weigh all my items and openly add around £1 onto the second class parcel service charge, this charge is for packing materials, petrol to the post office (I live in a very small rural village which does not have a post office) and my time. All of my items are packed using strong parcel paper and strong packing tape. All my items are sent second class, but I am more than happy to use which ever method of postage a buyer requires, please email before you make payment if you want a faster service or recored delivery etc.

I will happily accept returns but i will only refund the item price I will not refund any postage costs. If you do not agree with any of my policies then please do not bid on any of my items.

I always refer to the garment wash label when I list the size but sometimes used garments may deviate from the size shown due to washing, drying etc. So to ensure the correct fit please refer to the measurements provided. When I have sold a used item and as long as it is in a clean condition, I have my own personal little policy of not washing them myself before send them out. The reason I do this is not because I cant be bothered or don't have time, it is because as a buyer myself as well as a seller, i personally prefer to feel safe with the knowledge that I washed my own clothing in my own machine with my own choice of wash products, just a personal thing but thats me. I think its fair to say most people like to do this themselves before they wear used clothing. But if you want me to wash them before I send them, then please just let me know.

I am more than happy to post items to overseas bidders, but please E-mail me for the postage charge before bidding, as it does cost a little more than standard UK postage charge. I will cancel transactions when International buyers win auctions and pay the invoice and UK postage costs without first asking me to re-calculate the invoice to cover the correct international postage cost.
