As a long time ebayer,I hold to be self-evident the right to protect myself & fellow ebyers from malicious,unwarranted neg feedback,feedback extortion,& canned responses from Trust & Safety. To manifest this right,I now declare that we can and will create a better ebay experience. To ensure this right,I also declare that I will make every effort to ensure a positive ebay experience for ALL. We run Serenitys Edge, which is a place that any person in crisis can turn to for hope, & to be pointed in the direction of relevant services, in a non judgemental manner. We provide meals, transportation, and short term housing when appropriate. We are just people trying to give back what we ourselves have been given. (Gratefully, I am a friend of Bill W's.) We don't receive funding; we rely on ourselves to be self supporting through our own contributions. This is what makes it possible. As a side bar, we also started rescuing animals 12 years ago. It certainly wasn't intended! One thing led to another though, & here we are. We have great FAITH that nothing happens without a reason. Keeping a sense of humor certainly helps! We live in an beautiful area; out in the country, right off the lake. Good for the heart, fantastic for the soul! Come on by, the coffee's on & the fireflies are just beginning to dance... The nightmare our son & gran'boy endured was magnified by archaic ideas regarding single fathers. When children are abducted, the authorities scramble to recover them safe and sound. Most of the time. When children are kidnapped from a male custodial parent, bringing the abducting mother to justice and returning children to their father's home is less a priority. Our family survived the ordeal, & Andrew is thriving in a stable, nuturing home. No family should be subjected to what our family was subjected to. No child should have to endure what Andrew endured.
