I have bought several items from hogspear, all of which have arrived in the condition described and without any trouble or unnecessary delay. Fully recommend as a seller.

I'm still waiting on my item a month and a half after purchase and payment (on October 25). Communication has been generally unresponsive and when I've gotten a response it has been rather frigid in tone. I don't know when I'll get this item but it's a very different experience from my last transaction with this seller, which was quite positive. Not sure I would buy with them again after this however.

I appear to have been too hasty in my condemnation of the good Captain. A combination of overseas leave and illness at home resulted in the marked lack of communication. Usual efficient service appears to have been resumed!

checked with seller before bidding about collection in person. This was agreed. Won item concerned and still after 11 days and countless requests (for a collection address and invoice minus postage) I have heard nothing. All I can surmise is the item went for a song and the owner doesn't want to sell. There might be another explanation-I wait with baited breath. I would view this dealer as all show but no substance!!

I was always impressed with the service of Hogspear after many purchases. However, that was ok, until we had a problem, then it became a situation of inflexibility to my loss. This is not the way for a tradesman to behave and questions the voracity of this seller as a gentlemanly organisation. In the breakdown of communication, at no time was an apology offered for the poor represenation of the goods. Surely manners maketh the man!! Caveat Emptor!!!
