Fan of Hull City, Yorkshire Cricket, 1966 England team and Rugby generally, moved in recent years from the UK to Spain to UK to Scandinavia to Dubai to New York to Arizona to Moscow and now mainly in the UK, occasional trips into Europe.

In pursuit of the above items I have accrued some other lovely items, unfortunately they do not fit into the nature of my collection, nor the space my wife affords me. Hence, I am going to sell through them in coming months. Some great Man Utd items, Arsenal League programmes from 1940s-60s, a lot of European Games and English Finals as well as some early First Day Covers.

My wife is a whizz at packaging, she actually enjoys it and is really accomplished. I wonder if this is related to the fact that since we moved in together in 1998 we have lived in 9 homes in 3 continents. If payment is cleared by by 10 pm, pretty much guaranteed that it will be posted the following day, except after noon Friday it is likely to be Monday. We do re-use materials if they will get your goods to you in great shape, the wife is a bit of a tree hugger, we charge only enough to cover the postage costs whenever possible, we did overcharge a chap in Australia, we refunded him 2 pounds once we found out that the Post Office was not over the top for that country. I am not of the opinion that e bay was invented to line the pockets of the Royal Mail, I know some sellers are under that impression. If you do want an express service let us know and we will sort it out. Our general rule is that if an item sells for over 100 pounds then we send it express, we take the hit on extra cost

28 days after receipt, returned in condition that it was received/sent, we do keep photos of everything and believe that our descriptions are as accurate as possible.

I aspire to describe any item for sale exactly as it is, it may not do wonders for the selling price but this way you get exactly what you paid for and expected. Similarly if I describe an item as Excellent you can be confident that this is the condition of the item. I also group programmes together so that we can show photos of the cover as well as those team pages that so often ruin an apparently great item. On a couple of occasions I have spotted very dubious items, so far I have been persuasive enough to have five sellers amend their listing so that the buyer was not being ripped off, have to say I quite enjoyed playing policeman. If you are worried about authenticity then my reference points are Frasers the London company dealing with a lot of celebrity items. Pop their name and autographs into a Search and it will pop up. I also have their catalogues sent to me as they give you a great indication of anyone trying to pass off fakes. Chaucers will also send you free catalogues.
