A huge privately sourced selection of Welsh blankets and quilts available to view both online and in person at my C19th home. A stock of about 200 vintage , plus New stock from Welsh Mills. Exhibiting regularly at antique fairs , craft & agricultural shows through the summer months . E.g Builth , Newark , Carmarthen & The Small holders & The Winter fair at RWAS Builth. Pembrokeshire & Brecon shows etc. I am also a member of the Welsh Mills Society.Welsh blankets are not just my business but also my passion. I currently have three rare pairs of knitted socks on exhibition at Aberystwyth Museum. An exhibition of 19th and early 20th century Narrow loom blankets from Ceredigion is planned for 2010 at Aberystwyth Museum. The famous Absract artist ,John Uzzell edwards show at L`orient Brittany Just finished.about to tour wales At St Fagans , Caernavon Castle & Carmarthen . Then on to the Smithsonian Gallery in Washington D. C Canvases completly inspired by one of my rare C19th flannel quilts.Soon to be on display at the National Wool Museum in Drefach Felindre is a fabulous red wholecloth flannel quilt that came from Iowerth Peates family. Also a pair of very rare knitted socks with the name Miss Mary Jones knitted into the pattern.a taylors sample quilt is at Carmarthen Museum .
