Hello everyone, PET FREE HOME - NO WAY - I am a proud and responsible pet owner and will not disown them to mislead buyers. I still cannot believe that some sellers will do so just to appear more attractive to buyers.

I am not an ebay businesswoman or power seller. I just enjoy selling all my bits and pieces that I have collected over the years so that I can go out and buy some more. I keep these for a while and then when I get overloaded - I sell them. For instance, this family had a mission last Christmas. All my family were coming to me for Christmas Dinner - just one snag!! The dining room was full of ebayana. I did a few table-top sales and then, in desperation, gave away some not-so-special items to charity shops and put the rest mostly in the loft. The (many) boxes that remained cluttering up the dining room were either stored on top of the units, or piled against (just the one) wall with a tastefully positioned (Christmas-themed) tablecloth covering them. A few of last year's crackers and some red, green and gold holly garland and Bob's your Uncle - job done. Oh did I mention that I had chronic 'flu at the time and zero sympathy from him indoors. Anyway Christmas went well!!!

Every single item, irrespective of value, remains as important to me as it is to you and will be packed appropriately with loving care and attention. I calculate my postage and packing costs on an individual basis and try to be fair. I think that some buyers forget that packing materials (especially when no expense is spared on them) form part of the postage costs. I calculate costs on each individual item and try to be fair to my buyers - so much so that I am often out of pocket!! I still feel the child-like excitement and anticipation of receiving a parcel and have been known to make more than one trip to the Post Office every day when I get a sense that the Teletubbies puzzle or Postman Pat Plush is desperately needed the next day!!!

I took great exception and indeed, found it quite incredible that it seemed to be a pre-requisite that to sell items on ebay you had to have A PET-FREE HOME. I rebelled and stated on all my listings that my home was absolutely not pet-free and proud of it - I refused to conform - disowning my beloved pets who maintain my sanity after a stressful, sometimes 12 hour ebay day - NO WAY!!! However, at this point I should mention that my pets maintain a strict hygiene regimen and cannot reproduce. They smell infinitely sweeter than many humanoid soap-dodgers I know. My friends all said I was mad and would lose customers. Quite the reverse - I was and still am, inundated by e-mails from like-souls who love their pets and share my sense of humour. These come from all over the World. I keep every one and when I feel down, I read them again to restore my faith in human nature. God Bless you all
