Disregards plot. Had makers forgot they'd made a game?
Bad Company, while not wishing to ruin the story, follow a team of US soldiers as they follow a specialist private army due to orders and the solid gold bars they get paid with. The ending see's them happily on their way with enough gold to buy their own country. So why does bad company 2 exist? They got robbed? spent up? no. Nobody knows. Suddenly they're in a sequal, still in the army as if nothing happened. No riches, no gold and no memory of it ever having happened. Clearly a big issue there that's painfully obvious throughout the entire game. With every shot fired at you, you can't help but wonder why you're not controlling this character while he gets jiggy with maids, swims in an olympic sized jacuzzi smoking tree trunk sized cigars with his own royal emblem on the side. Not as much fun but if you were him and ran off with billions worth of gold, would you really return for a sequal? The new plot that gets followed can..be followed. Nothing great but hardly get snubbed at either. However it doesn't finish. Open ended. To be finished in Bad Company 3? I don't know but if the plot change from 1 and 2 is anything to go by, the third will be something again completely different and not related at all. besides the plot issues, the gameplay is excellent. Impressive AI on higher difficulties that pose a challange. The same destructable scenery that other games lack. Same quirky and wit filled humour. Can't fault that at all. Overall, a game worth buying and playing but if you played Bad Company 1 and pay interest it plotlines you must be ready for some confusion.
