12V 4CH Wireless Remote Control.
Was sceptical but bought it anyway to test. For £7.59 this is incredible value. Soak tested and it's a reliable unit. Removed board from case and can be used in another enclosure. Unwound the (coiled) antenna and positioned it vertically and I tested the range up to 35 meters and two brick walls - worked flawlessly like I was stood next to it. Not got to test it beyond 35 meters yet, but it was still going strong up to 35 meters with no signal drop out. There is a pad on the wireless part of the board for a ground plane too so I am sure the range can be extended beyond the original design purely by utilising a di-pole arrangement - antenna and ground-plane which is what I shall be doing next. Remote controls seem to be constructed from good quality plastic, not shoddy at all; the PCBs inside them are cleanly constructed and look professional. The remotes also have a silicon rubber gasket between the "clam-shells" to prevent moisture ingress. Highly recommended.
