Just the ticket
I bought this product to cover a hanging frame where I dry my home cured meat (such as bacon, etc) as it keeps the bugs away. The material is light and easy to sew a seam in but still robust enough to keep creepy-crawlies out. You could do a lot worse, and pay more for the 'privilege'

It just gets better and better
Greg House and his team do what they did in Series One - only better! The medical conundrums are just as baffling and House also gets to perform more medical miracles. Having dealt with the $100 million accountant, he's faced with having to deal with his ex-wife, whose current husband needs House's ministration. This gives us an opportunity to see even further under House's skin, as well as showing Dr Cuddy in a new light. We learn that she was the one who championed House for his job, and pushed his appointment through against considerable opposition. Of his team, Foreman stands out as probably the strongest; he is not afraid to disagree with House when he thinks his boss has got it wrong, and some of the clashes are a joy to watch. Maybe I am slower than most, but I didn’t really pick up on Wilson as a character in his own right in Series One, he seemed to be playing the role of faithful sidekick, someone to bully when House needed to express his frustration. He definitely comes out of the shadows in this series as the complex relationship between the two is shown in more detail. If you liked Series One, you’ll love this. A must buy NOW series!

House, not home
This has to be one of the most interesting drama series produced in the last 20 years. It has everything, from great plots via cutting-edge medicine and mystery, to believable characters. Hugh Laurie plays the title role to perfection as the irascible genius Dr. Greg House, topping the bill as a strangely likeable, but extremely acerbic Consultant Diagnostician, hooked on painkillers as a result of a badly-healed injury. House is one of those guys who has a very firm faith in human nature: “Everybody lies – the interesting part is ‘Why’”. His team of assistants act as the perfect foil for his maverick approach - and yes, it does take all three of them. They are used almost as much as the ever-present whiteboard to list symptoms and refine diagnoses. As far as I can tell, the writers stick strictly to medical fact; that is, no conditions or treatments appear unreal. I’m sure that some dramatic license is employed, particularly in the characterization of some peripheral characters. Cuddy (the hospital administrator) in particular takes a large part of this series to develop from a cardboard cut-out to a “real” person. Trust me on this; she’s worth getting to know, as the strength of her character is developed from episode to episode. The last time I saw anything this complex and thoughtful as a full-length series on British TV was The XYY Man, scrapped because audiences complained they “couldn’t understand it”. Best of all, House doesn’t run out of steam partway through. A must-watch series, which I expect to enjoy over many viewings and even more years!
