I wanted a Samsung because I already have one and have found it to be user-friendly, robust and reliable, as well as Samsung having a great helpdesk. This TV (so far) has lived up to and exceeded expectations - it's so slim, the picture quality is amazing, it was easy to set up and use, instructions are accessible. It even came with a free 3D DVD so we could check the 3D picture (which is also really good). I've only had it a couple of days, but am very happy with it. I can't comnpare it other similar products, but I do believe this is a great TV, and if you are going to use all the many great features, it's well worth the money.
