I am a part time school teacher who considers growing and selling plants as a hobby. Although I have a profound interest in succulents, I also love exotic tropical plants. My favourite plants are pereskias. My other important hobby is travelling.

Very interesting year so far. Visited Morocco, Mexico, and Japan for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Also visited New York, and Los Angeles. Exceptional Gardens: Huntington BG, and The Los Angeles Arboretum in California. Kyoto BG in Japan. Mexico City University BG, New York BG in New York. In Europe: Kew Gardens in London. Hortus BG in Amsterdam. Nice BG in south of France. Parc Phoenix in Nice. Pallanca Garden in Bordighera, in Italy.

Although I registered with Ebay in 2001, I did not actually start selling till more than two years later. Generally, I grow my plants from seeds, and also propagate via cuttings from my own specimen plants. I also buy a few, mainly when I am visiting abroad.

Would prefer most sellers to us the Paypal system, but would accept cheques or postal orders in the UK. For foreign orders, Paypal is the accepted form of payment.

Delivery in three days is the norm for most customers. Of course, all this still depends on the effectiveness of the Post Office. Depending on where you live, some customers get their package in one day. I expect customers to appreciate packaging and early delivery, is not free. I buy the boxes, or sometimes I have to make them. I expect customers to pay between £1 and £2.50 for packaging and quick delivery. They must also appreciate, the maths does not always work the same for everyone since you have to predict the final weight, and that there are always swings and roundabouts.

Generally, I do not accept returns. But that does not mean you cannot complain. I always send a note to my customers that state very clearly if there is a problem, please let me know. In extreme cases, I will gladly refund payment for damaged goods, or if I am found lacking.

In the last eigthteen months, I have developed a great interest in Agaves. I am currently growing loads of them hoping customers also be interested. Before now, I aways deem them too large to bother, but nnow I realise there are quite a lot of agaves of reasonable size. The variegated ones truly fascinate me, and I am trying to grow as many variations as is possible. Keep a look out on the auction block.
