History/background
I started keeping chickens (8) a few years ago and two and half years ago I was lucky enough to buy a 4 acre small holding, hoping to increase my flock, I found it increasingly difficult to find poultry breeders so I bought an incubator, having hatched more than I needed a built a small website and so merrydale poultry was born. Although still a fairly small business we have grown from selling a handful of hens every month to serveral hundred. And now stock all poultry husbandry items to. Not bad for a hobby, I personally own around two hundred chickens, its incredibly hard work but I absolutely love it.
