You don`t need to pay the big bucks
Hi I don`t usually go out of my way to write a review but this has come as a shock and the reason being is I was not expecting such a great smooth sound from a pretty cheap Subwoofer okay I have only had it for a few days and the actual build is not that impressive but it does deliver where you need it to . My set up is a 7.1 system built up from a good mixture of Mission floor standing fronts and centre speaker with sony surround speakers and the old subwoofer was a old rel powered model which recently broke down. Now this was just going to be a stand in until I could get another top of the range Woofer as you know they can be very expensive, but I will be honest with you I am not going to bother the sound as I stated the sound is exceptional and because it is so cheap it is fantastic value for your money. You have 2 ways of connecting this speaker to your receiver stereo Rca left & right or mono one input lead it does not have connections for your surround or front speakers,so you have to connect to a Home cinema Reciever or Hi-fi receiver, the only other negative is that it is difficult to set your level because the switch is located at the back but that is only a minor inconvienence all in all I was quite impressed .
