I have now been selling on ebay for six months and love giving a new lease of life to previously unloved and unwanted items. So many of my freinds have things they have never even worn!

Gap, Monsoon, Next, Mini Boden, Catimini, Oilily, Dpam, Okaidi and anything else of french origin that is unusual or creative - for the Kids. Abercrombie, Deisel, Carhartt, Reiss, Monsoon, Boden, Tommy H, Coast and anything I feel is of good enough quality for the adult market. I am also now being given some very high end DESIGNER clothes from freinds whom want to sell them through me rather than a second hand designer sale shop - so please look out for much more of that soon. I am also going to see how some second hand toys go ie Lego, books, puzzels and the odd electronic item. I must not forget the DVD's as the kids grow the tastes change - I have a 5yr old and a tweenie so tastes are broad but Disney animation is falling out of favour so they are all getting listed gradually. I also pass on DVD's that I buy for myself as once watched I very rarely watch again so pass it on!

Oh dear - my parents would probably say bad boyfriends but I dont actively try to collect those they just seem to end up in my life! I actively collect Meakin pottery - although I tend to car boot for it as I can see and touch it. I recently had a spin on vintage costume jewellery as a result of my work and would love to get more but am trying very hard to declutter so should not be encouraged. I suppose my main love though is fabric and all things associated - ie beads, buttons, braid and ribbon. I have bags of buttons from my grandmother and bits of victorian ribbon that I know I should make into something beautiful but I just cannot find anything I feel is suitable - ideas on a postcard please!

Good God you cant pick one or even a few I feel.I adore kids films and have many favourites amongst them, Eragon, Cars, Toy Story any Aardman. La Reine Margot I can watch again and again, as is the same for American Werewolf In London. I loved the film I caught late the other night on Film Four called Get Real, it was brilliant. I could go on but I would be here forever.

I began by selling my own items and found that DVD's and childrens clothes sold particularly well. So from there I have begun to source and buy in previously loved Childrens clothes. Many friends of mine give me items they are getting rid of as well. Due to this I am able to keep prices low - often starting auctions at just 99p. All clothes are throughly vetted before being listed and descriptions contain any defects I find. If however I feel that items have been loved to much then I simply will not list them. My philosophy is that I will not list anything I would not happily put my own children into. I strongly believe that we as a community waste too much and want to encourage people to recycle clothing. It makes sense in the present financial climate and for the enviroment. Kids clothes are not cheap - neither are the DVD's and toys they want - and I want people to benefit from a good second hand service.

At present I accept Paypal and will be trying again with postal orders and personal cheques. However if the PO or Cheque is not received within 7 days of the auction ending I will proceed with an unpaid item case as I have had to wait weeks in the past - sometimes never being paid at all.

Parcels will be posted within 2 days of payment being received - in the case of a PO or Cheque within two days of CLEARED payment. I only charge to cover the cost of the stamp and packaging - or courier and packaging - I do not try to make money out of this or charge for my time to go to the post office. After all I feel it is my choice to run a business this way so I accept the time it takes to post items - besides it gets me out of the house and away from the cleaning!

If upon receipt of the item you are not happy in anyway please do contact me via messaging in ebay as I am always more than happy to sort things out. If the item is faulty or broken upon receipt I will refeund - but only when the item has been RETURNED to me. I will also NOT refund the cost of p+p as I have explained above I feel this is part of the choice of shopping this way and not even the big mail order companies refund postage.

Please use the messaging service on ebay and I will reply as soon as is humanly possible. Please remember that I am a single mum and as such most of my weekends are taken up with the children so replies may be a little slow at these times.

As said I am a single mum of two whom having worked in Costume since I was 16 have finally deceided that it is no longer compatiable or conducive to family life. I also want to make my own items as the job I was doing previously whilst being 9 - 5 etc(a true rarity in the business) was not as creative as I wanted. I am setting up a site on folksy with my daughter to sell our handmade items of patchwork and home decore. So I split my time between recycling clothing and recyling fabric into interesting items for the home. Please check it out under the name of Homespun - launching October 2009. My daughter has inherited my love of fabric and good design and this is what I hope to reflect in the items that I sell on the site here. I source classic items - ie Gap jeans and then the more creative items such as Monsoon tops. I will also pass on any thing I think is unusual or just beautiful. On occasion I find some lovely grown up items too and feel compelled to pass them on as well.

I am gradually being asked more and more to sell on Designer and very high end items for friends. All items I list in this catagory have either brand new or worn a maximum of two times. A very dear friend of mine buys items from abroad a lot so these are often non-refundabale if they do not fit and I will be selling these for her. I am not making a profit from these items, after postal costs and fees all profits go back to original owner. Therefore the prices that I am setting on these items are under their guidance as to what they hope to achieve and reflect the fact as to whether they are unworn or not. I will have Make me an offer on some items but please if I am asking £200 for a new pair of boots that originally cost £500 I really am not able to accept £100. Offers have to be reasonable - whilst I know we all love a bargin girls ;) All items are 100% genuine and I will put up as many photos as possible but any questions or if you want additional pictures please just ask.
