For the money it's an excellent camera!
For the price I would highly recommend it. It does everything you need it to do, you can even film yourself with the viewfinder going all the way round. The microphone is really good and it has a good night setting that helps in darker conditions and the battery life is amazing. I use it to film myself doing comedy gigs and it's perfect for that.
