Sony Ericsson W960i Walkman / Touch Screen Mobile Phone
10 of 12 found this helpful I've been using the W960i for about 4 months now. Overall, it has been exceptional.
It is a very well built phone, and exudes quality in everyway; from the sleek design to to the applications and layout. There don't seem to be any bugs i've found as of yet.
The Wifi connectivity is also excellent, sometimes picking up the wireless connection before my Laptop does. Also provides great connectivity throughout. No problems with bluetooth either.
The Walkman is very similar to most walkman phones on the market - good base, good sound quality, good earphones supplied, and an equalizer that actually works. However, i am a bit disappointed that [for the price] there is nothing new or special about the walkman.
Organiser is easy to use, complete with calender, task manager and the other usual apps.
i think the camera captures great quality photos. However, the shutter speed is very slow, which i've found to be a pain. Often whilst trying to take photos, i've completely missed the moment i wanted to capture due to the delayed shutter. Photos of moving objects are also very blurred on occasions, as is the video recording ( a bit of a shame, as that's quite the point of having a video camera).
The large touch screen, however, is a great improvement on the W950i. Super clear, bright, and much tougher than the w950i's, this screen is absolutely crystal clear. It's also very responsive, and accurate with or without the stylus.
