History/background
I have been involved in art & design all my life, training originally in Fine Art, (drawing, mixed-media, ceramics, printmaking and painting) I've a BA Honours degree and post grad in art & design, and have taught 11-18 age art and design for many years at GCSE and A Level, specialising in large scale hand-built ceramics. I have been making miniature figures since 2003 using polymer clay, which was a new and exciting material for me. It has allowed me to combine a love of working from the figure with a long-standing love of fabrics and textiles, and of story-telling. I really enjoy creating these little characters, and I hope this shows in my work!

I pack thoroughly and prefer to send next day recorded delivery, costs kept low by recycled packing boxes etc.
