One of a few stunning lenses I have employed throughout my career.
Serious photographers, of a certain age, look back over the years and the range of kit they have used. In the 1970's I used some, by today's standards, weird lenses. Nikon have always produced stunning glass and if you are into collecting, this is one for you. Nikon patented the lens design, it produces NO distortion. It is NOT a fish-eye, it's rectilinear and if you shoot anything over 8-10 feet away you will have straight lines. According to Photosynthesis Nikon made about 10,500 of the 3.5 version between 1978 and 1985 I also have the earlier 5.6 version (the widest angle lens in 1973) of which Nikon made around 3,600 from 1973-78. Because of the design, just look at the front element, the 5.6 has filters built in on a rotating wheel and the 3.5 has filters you attached to the rear of the lens. Today, with modern software and the ease of scanning film to digital, you wont be using the filters. Work your artistic magic in post. You can use both the above on every Nikon body, in some cases you will have to use the camera in manual mode. When they come out to play I am currently employing them on Nikon Fs as well as my D800 and the new D810. Film or digital the results are stunning, and these are incredible lenses for interiors, architecture and landscapes. One last word about shooting, unless you want the sun bouncing through your image shoot with it behind you.

So easy to use
Was not sure what I would get, but unpacked it I was pleasant surprise. Well constructed and in no time I had it set up for my iPad and iPhone and with the option of adding my desktop (or) laptop. Up to three devices Bluetoothed, and easily switchable using the three white function keys. As for the build, nice rubberized tactile feel. The battery door is somewhat difficult to open (but maybe that's a good thing). It could have been produced with flip out feet in the underside, like all standard keyboards, but the K780 sits flat. I have on the desk a K120 (light as a feather) so it's nice that the K780 has some weight to it. In all a good purchase and a better keyboard than those that come with covers and will only fit one specific device.
