A Good BUY
2 of 2 found this helpful Its the only game that has even come close to movies in terms of likeable characters, and story. A good buy for anyone that has a playstation 3.

A odd kind of wild west.
Most RPG games end up being around the same era of time. This mystical point where people can drink potions to heal and have weapons that would make transformers blush with how much they can fold away. Wild arms isn't that kind of game. Its set on a desert planet that has some little bits of odd tech (like saving robots) but nothing so insane that it makes it feel out of place.
You start playing the intro of one of the four people you will have in your party, after finishing everyones intro (as well as there tutorials) you get to start the main story, complete with anime style intro. You play a group of people called "Drifters", a cover all term for do-gooders that wander the world using "ARMS" to fight. "ARMS" are guns that are tuned to the user to the point no one else can really use them.
The gameplay is very simple RPG turn-based style that allows for a lot freedom when it comes to the fights. Most enemy types have a weakness that needs to be followed in order for it to be vanquished quickly. The spell effects are the best part, some being better then ive seen in most modern games and this game isn't new anymore.
If your looking for a RPG thats very anime in style and very fun. :) Its worth.

Some would say that this is a chic flick series maybe it is still it keeps you intent on the screen seening what is going to happen next.
