Our family have been selling linens and curtains in London for over 45 years. My mother worked on a market stall in Ridley road London for a man call Harvey Gilbert. The founder of Harveys Furnishings over 45 years ago(now sponcers of Corination street)started to work for Harvey as a Saturday boy at 14 and I went on to be a manager of one of the shops at the tender age of 19. I am 48 now and have had my own company since 1999.
I now have two companies, a retail company with high street shops in London and a contract interiors company dealing with businesses ie; hotels, offices and government buildings ect. We can actually boast that we made curtains for the walkways and engine room of Tower Bridge. We have also made blinds for the Round House Theatre and Alexander Palace!
