Incorrect part listed. given correct 1 no xtra charge they said.it was very much cheaper than i what i had paid for and i am glad i checked the part sent. When i complained there was no response for a few days so i requested a return via ebay to get my money back.Then they made contact and i was fully refunded the difference in price. + fb due to refund given.Should not have to chase seller to give you the cash back tbh.

I bought a radiator cap thinking, as one might have, that the cap looked something like that advertised. But no. I was sent a plastic alternative that while it might have (didn’t try it) fitted it wasn’t anything like that advertised. Got in touch. Told that the advertised cap was a library picture and that the plastic cap (more than less than half price to what I’d paid). Initiated a return. Told that because the cap sent fitted my car I would have to pay for the return. Got in touch with eBay

Well I never! After telling me to dispose of the cap (they didn't want to pay for the return postage which eBay said they needed to) I got a return label. I had binned the item by then and eBay aren't interested in what is obviously a scam. It works like this: (1) tell the buyer to dispose of the item to be returned and promise a refund; (2) send a return label a few days later; and (3) buyer is well and truly stuck and scammed since eBay aren't interested unless you actually send an item back.
