Some people ask, some people don't care but here's the 411 on how it all happened...
The concept for the store came to Elizabeth Joo-Bighorse and her daughter Kendra Martin when they were discussing name brand clothing availability in the Maple Valley, WA area at affordable prices. A place where juniors, missy and plus size juniors could stock their closets without breaking their wallets.
Patty Dreyer and Elizabeth Joo-Bighorse discussed future business plan ideas over coffee, it was discovered that they shared nearly the same idea. Naturally, the two owners combined Dreyer's education and experience in the technical industry and in her prosperous eBay business with those of Bighorse's retail ownership, gift representative experience and web design knowledge.
The result has been the opening of Moodswings Inc's first retail location August 2003 in Maple Valley, Washington about 30 miles from downtown Seattle.
