Business InformationPayment policy
Please note I can no longer accept cheques from UK buyers - this is mainly due to the fact that I am unable to get to my nearest bank on a regular basis, which only adds to the already lengthy clearance time. I am happy to accept Paypal & Postal Orders (uncrossed) from UK and Ireland buyers. All other international buyers MUST USE PAYPAL without exception.
Delivery information
My P&P charges are kept to a minimum, but they do include the cost of ALL related expenses, NOT JUST THE ACTUAL POSTAGE COST. This includes either the padded envelope (used for ALL small/cosmetic items) or the waterproof mail bag used for all clothing & other items (these alone cost me 50p each!), the bubblewrap, selotape, paper for the enclosed docket, etc. plus the journey to the post office - it often takes me over an hour to drive there, do the post & drive home again, and I will often do this to post JUST ONE item, to ensure the buyer gets it a.s.a.p. I always try to post my items within 24 hours of payment, but will always email the buyer to confirm its dispatch or to notify them of any delay. ALL items are sent using a Recorded/Signed For delivery - NO EXCEPTION. This service alone costs 75p for UK items, so please bear that in mind if you look at my p&p and think it looks expensive - almost £1.25 of my p&p is accounted for BEFORE the actual postage is taken into account.
Return policy
I go to great lengths to describe all my items as openly, accurately & honestly as possible - I include photographs of all items (most times I also have additional ones available on request). I will always try my best to describe the condition & if there are any flaws I will always describe them in the listing description, as well as trying to photograph if possible. For these reasons I will only accept returns if I have overlooked something & the item does not match my description - I am human so might make a mistake. I will not accept returns because you don't like it, it doesn't fit, it's not the color you thought - please ask all questions BEFORE bidding to ensure you are fully aware of what you are about to bid on - when you bid you enter into a contract to complete a sale. Compensation for items damaged in transit should be claimed for from the Royal Mail - this is why you pay extra for the Recorded Delivery. I do not refund p&p, unless I've sent you the wrong item by mistake.
Contact information
Please contact me via ebay's messaging service - I check my messages frequently throughout the day & will always do my best to answer all queries within a few hours. There are of course exceptions to this so please be patient.
Paying For Your Item
When you bid on an item, according to ebays rules & regulations you enter into a contract to complete a sale. This seems to be lost on a lot of buyers who treat ebay almost like an online catalogue store, bidding on things in the same way that they'd add them to their 'online trolley' and then have no intention of buying & 'completing checkout'. This is very unfair, not just to me as the seller (each listing costs money, not to mention time!) but it's also unfair to genuine buyers who did actually want the item. I expect payment within 3 days, (5 days if paying via postal order), and if payment is not received within this time, or if I have not received any email regarding a delay in payment, the item will be relisted & the transaction reported to ebay for non-payment. This non-payment will result in the non-paying buyer receiving an 'Unpaid Item Strike' and may result in suspension of their account. I'm happy to wait for payment if you are bidding on more of my items, just let me know
