for its size and price it is a great gadget, yes it may have less options and quality if you compare it to cannon or olipus,but then you are not carrying around 10 holdalls full of equipment and a camera crew looking like david baily,so its perfect for that on the spot capture,epecialy as it fits in to a shirt pocket,and up to 2hrs bat life or longer if you buy another battery that has a bigger capasity and a bigger card 8g 16gig you could stay on holliday all year,plus this is the only cam i have bought that everything extra was in the box,because the last 10 never,the on screen menue has all the usual gubbins to alter or leave everything on auto like i do open the screen point and fire,and if you just want to store pics on your hard drive with the usb lead you get just plug it in to your computer and you can send your files wherever,you dont have to run the disc,you will if you want utube,the software on the disc is only trial anyway,you will be asked a few weeks down the line to pay for it if you want to keep useing it,wich is normal,so there we have it a 3" screen and like me if you wear glasses you will need it,the little built in lamp is handy within its range,far better than one i bought years ago with 0lux night vision everything was green,anyway ime not a boffin i only bought mine cos it was red,i love it.
