Great vocals, lyrics and an intresting album!

There is more than the hint of memory on Beauty & Crime. The sound of this record is full of depth and nuance that every audiophile and music lover will love.
The sound is unmistakably Vega; her clean, subtle voice is undiminished and as fresh as ever... Recommended album!

One of the best Enigma albums to own!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been a fan of Michael Cretu's project 'Enigma' since his debut album 'MCMXC a.D'. Michael Cretu never fails to produce anything less than art with each album release. And every Enigma album that is released is totally unique and groundbreaking from the last. Michael Cretu's music doesn't fade out after a few years, it lives on as a timeless entity. That can be listened to anytime by anyone and still leave the listener with the same emotions they had with the first time listening to the music. The album 'Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!'is no exception. From start to finish, this album takes you on a journey that is out of this world! I simply cannot describe how emotional this album is......
Easily one of my all-time favourite albums... A must buy!

"Deep and mesmerizing"
As glib as it is to equate minimalism with effortlessness, Talk Amongst The Trees is the contrary of both. It's not minimal for the simple reason that its pieces are comprised of seemingly infinite layers of noise – guitars, feedback, backward guitars, probably some strings, maybe piano – and it's not effortless because those layers are so precisely reined in and so evenly applied. Never too evenly to make it boring, however; always just variegated enough to call attention to its intricacy. At nearly 11 minutes, opener "New Animals From The Air" never wears out its welcome, though its melody and rhythm (if you can even call them that) never change.
Forget sound collage: this is a sound tapestry, the colorful and somewhat monumental sum of countless sounds and textures woven together with gentle ingenuity.
