I wish there was a 7th, 8th, 9th etc....................
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of books from the first to the sixth. The writing became more confident as the series progressed and the characterization gelled into place with Susan becoming my favourite. Obviously comparable to Scarpetta's trials and tribulations but nothing like as bleak and with a superbly individual sense of humour which Cornwell lacks. The picture of Chelsea Cain in the back of the books shows the lively twinkle in her eyes which pervades the books, and also shows something a bit more playful which pops up here and there in the saga.
Sometimes a mite visceral for the tender of heart.
