reads the wrong way round
The problem with this item is that it gives maximum resistance (190 ohms) when the float is at the top of the sensor, and zero ohms when the float is at the bottom of the sensor. This will have the effect of making most fuel gauges show full instead of empty, if they read L-R. This is assuming you mount the sensor with the mounting ring at the top.
On the credit side it is an extremely rugged unit which will probably last forever.
