After many successful years on the high street involved in all aspects of the retail jewellery trade, we decided to involve ourselves in internet shopping, with our mission being to satisfy the needs of the modern shopper. Nuttalls of Chester Ltd is a small family run business providing excellent products, friendly personal service, customer care and satisfaction. We have at our disposal over 150 years of experience and a policy of extremely competitive prices, always well over 50% cheaper than most other high street and internet stores. We want you to really enjoy your experience of shopping with us on the internet, and we hope to make you feel comfortable and relaxed doing so. We are members of The British Jewellers Association and are bound to uphold their strict codes of practice. Payment policy
We accept credit card and debit cards, cheques, bankers drafts, bank transfers, postal orders and PayPal. Regrettably we do not USUALLY accept cash.
Delivery information
Items when in stock will usually be dispatched immediately payment has cleared into our account, using our 'Standard Rate' (Royal Mail Special Delivery or International Airsure), which are our recommended services because they have insurance and tracking attached. Or via the uninsured Royal Mail First Class Recorded rate or Airmail International. Please note these are no method is a guaranteed 'next day' delivery service, and are all subject to handling times. This usually means that UK customers will receive their purchase 5-7 working days later (metal giftware 10-14 days). If we envisage any delays, we will email you and await your instructions. Items that have regrettably gone out of stock usually take 7–14 working days longer. Special orders, re-sizing, engraved items and bespoke designs may take longer. International delivery time varies considerably depending upon chosen delivery method and destination. We do not send out items until payment has fully cleared into our account.
Return policy
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase on receipt (certain exceptions apply - see below), and you notify us of the problem within 48hrs, then as long as you return it to us, unused, in its original condition along with its original packaging within 14 days of receipt, then we will refund to you the full price you paid (less any third party transaction fee) within 30 days of us receiving the returned item in its original condition. We regret that we will be unable to refund postage and packaging costs. Please note that NUTTALLS of CHESTER Ltd may refuse any return under its 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE if said item is not returned in the condition it was supplied by us, or the reason for return is not in our opinion valid. We regrettably cannot accept returns on body jewellery, earrings, specially requested bespoke designs, specially requested small or large size gem-set rings and diamond rings, items that include engraving and items that have been delayed in the post.
