We sell interior pieces, antique and some vintage. The pre-requisite is quality or uniqueness, especially French & of course, English! We live in a period farmhouse and have a cottage in France, & love working with old things every single day! Bliss!

We have been trading for 15 years, originally in architectural items, more recently in period interior pieces, textiles a speciality. We also sell reclaimed parquet flooring, which is at our sister shop, parquet_parquet.

We accept Paypal, cheque, cash, credit or debit cards (we have a facility as we are a business). Personal collection is always very welcome as we love to meet our customers!

We send out usually next day, (unless we are in France of course) Please note that items must have proof of delivery in order to qualify for Paypal protection therefore we only send items within the UK recorded delivery. Items sent abroad are either with a signature on delivery, and/or tracked or, if below £39 in value without either as it is covered by the Royal Mail insurance. Any loss in the post will be refunded once the post office has completed its investigation as sometimes a package will be lurking in the corner of a sorting office undelivered for one reason or another. Royal Mail policy is that a claim cannot be made for 3 weeks in all cases and it can be very slow. We do charge a small amount for handling for post and packing. If you are unhappy with the rate of postage quoted for that particular item please do NOT bid. If we have underestimated the postage we honour our quote in all cases and if the item needs insuring and we have not allowed for that, we will do it anyway.

Our items are antique or vintage and therefore we will only refund if the item has been demonstrably misdescribed, not if it is unsuitable for your house, and in all cases we will not refund the return postage, however I try to describe things very accurately and provide plenty of photographs and will always do more if requested! Due to the vintage or antique nature of our items at auction, they should not be expected to be perfect unless described as such, but we will always try our best to assist with any problems you may encounter.
