Oxfam is Britain's largest second-hand book retailer and one of Britain's largest second-hand music & video retailers. Our Books & Music Store has been part of the Crouch End community in North London since 2003. Our large and loyal customer base is attracted by the quality of our stock and the warm and friendly service they receive. Primarily we sell top-quality books, magazines, comics, records, CDs, DVDs and videos. In addition we also sell a selected range of jewellery and Fairtrade food products. Our online shop opened in 2007 as a way of reaching a wider market for certain unusual, specialised or collectable books. We always welcome new visitors to both shops. All E-Bay items are available to view in the shop.

We prefer PayPal for online transactions though cheques and postal orders are welcome too. Personal callers are welcome to pay in cash and collect the item without postal costs (best to phone ahead)

We try to keep costs to a minimum, therefore items will normally be sent out Second Class (3-5 days delivery time) or the next cheapest available service. Some more valuable items may be insured. Packaging is kept to a minimum, but acceptable amount necessary to protect your item. We ship globally, but it is best to contact us first to enquire about fees before purchasing an item. It is also worth enquiring beforehand about combined mailing charges for multiple items. We try to mail items out within 24hours, but due to staffing arrangements, this occasionally not be possible for up to 72hours.

Our shop volunteers do their best to ensure every item is described accurately and in detail. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us to see if a satisfactory resolution can be reached. If you still feel the need to return the item, please notify us beforehand so that we know to expect it. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund postage on returned items.
