I've been a member of eBay for over 5 years, initially as a buyer for my hobbies and interests, but lately I've started selling some of the stuff I've accumulated over the years. My interests are Land Rovers (I have two), Classic Cars/Trucks and Military Vehicles. I go to lots of Land Rover/Car/Truck/Military shows and buy all sorts of things for myself. Sometimes I buy Job-Lots of things because there's something I want for myself amongst it - I sell anything I don't want or need from the Job-Lot. I often get asked to sell things on behalf of Friends and Family, this can be anything and has included - Clothes, Shoes, Household Goods, Car Spares, Tools, Equine stuff and more...

PayPal for all transactions. 'Cash on Collection' is fine for collected items. I expect payment within 24 hours of the end of an Auction, or in the case of 'Buy It Now' items, at the time of purchase - but certainly no later than 24 hours after committing to buy. Winners or Buyers of 'Cash on Collection' items should contact me within 24 hours to arrange a mutually convenient time for collection.

As a buyer I dislike 'hiked-up' P&P charges. I like to think that my P&P charges are fair and reasonable. I only charge the postal costs + the cost of packaging, I don't charge for my time or for driving to the Post Office in my 4.0 litre V8 Land Rover! I will always combine P&P costs for multiple items (where possible) - please request an Invoice before paying. Sometimes, buyers have payed the 'totted-up' P&P charges on multiple purchase without requesting an Invoice, in these cases I have always refunded the excess P&P - another reason for only using PayPal. I always dispatch items the next working day and, sometimes (if 'Bought Now' early in the day), items are dispatched on the same day.

I'm not a business, so I don't have a 'Return Policy' I describe all my items honestly and supplement this with several pictures that will open 'full size' in a new window, so I expect people to know what they are bidding for or 'Buying Now' and not change their mind when they have received it! This is not a rigid rule and I'm always willing to help if there are problems, so please contact me in the first instance.

I always leave feedback for sellers as soon as items I've purchased have arrived. I expect buyers to leave feedback for me when they have received their item(s). I will then leave feedback for them. I used to leave feedback for buyers when I despatched their items, but I got fed up with buyers who didn't bother leaving feedback for me. So now I only leave feedback for buyers when they have left feedback for me.
