Best in price range.
The Warmtone automatic feeder is the best for this price range. I bought two of them, one for larger pellets and one for the smaller pellets. I don't know that I would use this product for flakes, as there is nothing in the holder to stop the flakes from caking. There is also nothing that keeps moisture from getting in to the holder, but it is sealed and the rotation will keep the pellets from sticking to each other. You can adjust the amount of food that disperses in the tank each feeding and the timer is very easy to set. The timing pins stow safely and easily in the face of the timer when not in use. There are instructions to place the timer in 3 different positions to suit your needs. I can't say that the timer is small enough to fit under a hood, but it might be able to fit better in one of the other positions.
