I am a 65 year old retired lady, married nearly 50 years and have 3 lovely adult children and 4 Grandkids.I love Ebay, you could say addicted. When you retire you need a hobby something to keep the brain active. My Husband says he is an Ebay Widower!

Most of the items I sell are good quality family items. My Daughter is the main supplier she always buys Boden, Monsoon and many other designer clothes for herself and the children.Sometimes they have been worn a few times, many times never worn, as they grow so quickly. So I have a continual hobby.

Generally I buy clothes ie. coats, dresses, jumpers and shoes and sometimes various items for the home.

I have been a member since October 2001 and in those days I mainly bought items but since retiring 5 years ago I found I spend a lot of time indoors so rather than go completely barmy I needed a hobby. So as my Daughter is always having a clear out I decided to start selling.I bought a book about Ebay and sat and read about selling and hence my hobby has developed. Most of the items as you can see in my feedback are practically new or have been worn a couple of times so not only do I keep my brain active the majority of the people who bid on my items are getting some good quality items that are reasonably priced. So in a round about way we help each other. When a person has worked all their life and then suddenly they have nothing to do just sit and waste away. Whereas having a hobby with something to do it keeps everything ticking over.So what with Ebay and my Grandchildren hopefully I will stay a young Nan.

Mainly Paypal and Postal Orders.

Firstly I apologise but I am now going to send everything recorded signed for which is and extra 75p on top of the 2nd class postage because I have had parcels going missing within the Royal Mail system. I always get a receipt which states the date, time and place of postage but apparently this is not enough proof and Ebay maintain that the Customer is always right so they refund from my account.On occassions I have been accused of lying and saying that I never posted the item but this is alright because the customer is always right If you want it sent registered I will do that but the extra must be paid for by the customer. I will also send to Europe but please enquire about the postage first.If you are not willing to pay the extra postage then I will not be responsible for delivery arriving and it will be down to the customer if it goes astray.Once again I am sorry about this but I am not a business and I am not going to get caught anymore.

I do not have a returns policy as I feel that I give enough information when listing and I maintain that I wouldn't sell anything that I wouldn.t love to receive myself.
