Mirafit Standard 1" Shrug Bar & Locking Collars Weight Lifting/Deadlift Hex/Trap
27 Jul, 2019
Heavy duty...small price!
Been looking for a trap/shrug bar for a while. The thing is, I lift heavy but all my weights are old skool 1" and finding bars with reasonable weight bearing ratings is nigh on impossible ☹ But this bar is 300kg rated 😊 So far so good. Haven't loaded to 300 yet but the bar feels strong with no strain at 200 plus. Highly recommended!

Great pro level camera! Grab one while before prices go crazy!
I'm an 'enthusiast' photographer with little talent and even less money :) I have this camera for about two weeks now. It replaces my 400D which will go to my daughter. I had the 400D for a few years and was still learning how to use it and get the best out of it. While 400D is a great camera (I have some lovely images from it) I felt the urge to upgrade. After a LOT of research I decided to go for a 40D. (Had considered 500D to 650D and 50D and even older 5D's). Getting it at the right price took a while, but finally it arrived. Right from the moment I held the camera it felt like a quantum leap in gear. It's going to take a long time to get the full potential out of this camera. It's packed with excellent 'pro level' functions and I have already made a few mistakes (like setting the ISO to 3200 for all the photos I took while away for my wedding aniversary! DPP saved many images). So, what do I NOT like about it? - Auto ISO (seems to always choose fairly high ISO) - It doesn't do video (but then I knew that :) ) What do I like? - Build quality - Ergonomics (which at first were annoying but make so much sense now) - Speed - Quality of image (it IS better than the 400D though it has the same sensor) - It works well with ALL my lenses. (One of my EF lenses hunts for focus on teh 400D but works well with the 40D) - Creative potential - Customisability (through menus) - Spot metering - Option for 6.5 fps! - Very useable 1600 ISO - The list goes on! Prices second hand are starting to rise quickly. I understand why!
