January 2008: This is what I hope will be the start of a wonderful business designing, sewing, selling home decor and American Girl and Betsy McCall doll clothing! I have been involved with sewing for craft shows, county fairs, contests, etc., for many years now and have won awards for my work. My move to England has allowed me to retire early from teaching and now I can spend my days sewing for pleasure and profit. Most of what I plan on sewing will be made with all or part vintage fabrics and textiles. However, some clothing will be new fabrics and materials as suits the design of the outfit. All will be one of a kind - so YOU will be the only person with that exact design for your doll.

Listings will be on US eBay because they are not searchable in the US if listed in the UK. I will charge International shipping for all of my items. Shipping from the UK to America is less expensive than from America to the UK. There should be only a nominal difference in price, from what it would be, if I were shipping from America or even within America, since the USPS has raised its rates so much! I always have, and will always continue, to charge ONLY the ACTUAL shipping costs for my items. No added packing, supplies, or hidden fees. I will ship in bubble wrap, or heavyweight plastic envelopes for safe, fast airmail shipping to the US. Most packages will arrive in 7 - 10 days. Some insurance is included with the cost of shipping but it is limited and may not cover the full cost of the item. This is directed by Royal Mail and we have no other options. My time sewing, listing, selling, packing and shipping, is too valuable to also include dealing with returns.
