Just as it was back in the day
2 of 2 found this helpful Whether you were a rver back in the day or just a dj looking for some oldskool sounds for the box, this is worth every penny. Originally released some years ago as a DJ friendly 2 x 12" and now available on a CD, this features a selection of the finest sounds that were arround at the time.
Many of the songs you may not recognise the name, but if you were a raver between '90 and '94 you certainly heard them at the time and they'll bring back memories now.
Its still DJ friendly, all the tracks are complete 12" versions with no mixing inbetween so perfect for dropping into an oldskool set. If you were there or just want to get some authentic oldskool into your collection I cannot recomend this highly enough.

Nice vivid colours and a shimmer too
This wasn’t advertised as being a shimmery / glittery collection but it is and that really makes the colours pop. They’re nice and vivid and wear well through the day.
The only slight negative is that the very darkest blue doesn’t really seem any darker than the rest when applied, which was a slight shame but overall really pleased and great value at £5

3 decent songs and plenty of filler
If you are considering buying this album for the tracks 'insanity' 'controlling me' or 'wicked love' then you may well be disappointed with the rest of it. Whilst these are the tracks that made Oceanic a big hit on the commercial rave scene in the early '90's, the rest of the tracks on this album are nothing like these and just feel like poorly produced fillers to get an album out of 3 decent songs.
To be fair, I didn't pay very much for a copy of this, just £1.49 and for that ammount it's probably worth it as the 'dream tripper edit' of 'insanity' is a lesser known version and a little bit ravier than the commercial 'legendary mix' and a version that I didn't have before.
Frankly though, if I'd have paid any more for it I'd have felt a little let down. Just my opinion and I'm sure other people will think differently.
