Drill / Tap save time

We did a test at work to compare the time taken to tap an M6 hole
Time taken for conventional pilot drill, followed by M6 tap = 1 minute 10 seconds
Time taken for M6 Drill / Tap = just 8 seconds
With a typical electrical back plate needing between 100 to 200 M5,M6 and M8 tapped holes that's a huge time saving
