Radio is exactly as described. Great radio to get your feet wet with DMR

this item is fine considering it's cost; it is an ideal rig for the average Ham to get started in DMR; the programming software is easy to use and there are a number of codeplugs out there to modify for your local use; be aware of the differences in DMR vs. standard HT's and repeaters in that this requires a signal back from the repeater that you're connected otherwise it will stop transmitting and you may think something's wrong. The memory is not as large as in the more expensive rigs, but quite large enough for normal use; overall, a good DMR HT to get your feet wet with the DMR system.
