Retrotone audio is a small company who specialise in Vintage amplifiers, record players and audio equipment from the 1950's & 1960's.

We sometimes from time to time collect old valve amps and guitars as most of us at 'Retrotone' are musicians ourselves and play out regularly in bands and like to try out as many old valve set ups as we can, just for the fun of it and see who can get the best tone!. I suppose you could say there's alot of competition in the 'Retrotone' bootcamp.

Retrotone audio was formed in 2002 by myself (John), with a passion and interest in vintage electronics and old valve related gear. I am an ex-session guitarist & active semi-pro musician and i have had an interest in electronics as far back as i can remember as a child. I have had previous training and experience in an electrical/electronics background and have previously worked for various companys making systems for the MOD and Project manager for PCB manufacture and production.
