IT IS the little things that matter.
wezmoto-com Thanks for your feedback which is really important to us. To get straight into your comments, we choose paper stickers to hold the zip ties on. The alternatives are a lo-tac sticker which falls off in warmer temperatures or a vinyl sticker which doesn't rip or leave residue - but is a last choice as we don't want to use any more plastic than is absolutely necessary in our products (our guards are made from recycled PP from waste plastic). We have been aware of the residue for a while and are looking at resolving this. Regarding the length of the guard, the PF1 is our do it all option for mountain bikes. The rear of the guard is the perfect pitch for catching mud and spray. It needs to be a certain height from the tyre to catch dirt effectively, and work with every combination of wheel and tyre size on the market. If it hugs the contours of the tyre at the back, the guard becomes less effective at this length. We chose not to lengthen the front on the PF1, we have a new guard about to be launched in the market that works more effectively in really adverse conditions, when riders need more protection from spray and dirt. The PF1 is your all year round option mudguard. It's also worth noting the extra material around the fork legs blocks blocks dirt and water from the fork seals, another small but considered design feature. Thanks again for your feedback and although design is often subjective we really do consider the little things.
