ER, Two men and a boy, John Edward's Crossing Over and the morning news gets me ready to start the torch!

I watch all the magazines and catalogues to see what color combinations are popular and gear my beads toward those colors so I'm keeping current with the seasons. I get my names on the high end catalogues and walk around the malls to make sure I'm keeping with the seasons on all the beads I make.

I have worked over 20 years in various types of law as a legal secretary, I sold real estate for 14 years and during that time I knew my husband was going to retire so I started working with glass in every possible way except blowing glass...although I did take a class and made Christmas ornaments last year and never laughed so hard in my life...that was a fun class! My husband retired...the real estate market crashed and we didn't move to our retirement community like we wanted. Together we renovated our house. The reason we hooked up was we were both renovating houses.

I only accept paypal...I don't have time to deal with anything else

I pride myself in shipping quickly upon payment. I understand that ebay is a very very big place and the competition is not to be believed so I work hard at shipping as soon as possible. If an auction ends after the mailman has come I wait until the next day. But people have remarked how quickly I ship and I want to keep doing that. So the sooner someone pays the sooner it gets shipped. If someone emails me that they are still shopping I am fine with that...as long as I see their name bidding within a day or so.

I stand by every bead I make...and if I start selling something else I stand by that...I might be adding glass art soon...maybe Christmas ornaments. I have been packing and shipping glass without insurance for a long time and nothing has broken...I know how to pack to protect especially during the holidays.

My glass work has been in a gallery in Occoquan VA for 5 years. My work has been displayed in Elan magazine which is a local art magazine in the Washington DC area. I wasn't fazed by it until someone told me what an honor it was. Then I was woo...woo. I was excited..don't get me wrong. I've been working with glass in all manners...stained glass...fused glass...slumped glass...beads. I do work by commission.

I owe my heart to the Weimaraner Rescue League in Mich...Chris is the greatest lady. I found her on line & told her I wanted a puppy that needed a loving home (I've been trained to train Weimaraners so it's not something you want to try at home) & not a dog that someone didn't know what to do with. She was great. Answers to my prayers. I had just lost my 2nd Weim. She went to Missouri's puppy mills (which by law should be shut down but nobody is doing anything about it...SPCA..PETA...what are they doing?) My little guy was going to be sold to a lab for tests and then put to sleep. Baron is the light of my life! He is so sweet! Oh course he was a wild man when I got him until he learned that Mama was the boss. I give my glass art and jewelry designs every year to this organization to help the Weims that have been given up. They are a lifesaver to many Weims that would otherwise be put to sleep. So if my site says I don't donate $$ to an organization. Check yourself with MWR
