Dyson washable filter.
I am delighted with the Dyson. It is a real breakthrough in vacuum cleaner technology. However, I feel that this little filter could be a weakness in a truly brilliant design (not that I could do better).
It is easily accessible and removable but simply rinsing under the tap, as per instructions is not enough to clean the filter. It holds a massive amount of dense matter requiring a thorough clean. It also takes several hours to dry, hence my reason for buying a spare. However I do like the Dyson and would recommend it to others. Just keep a spare filter.
