Lightweight but practical
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this as a gift for a friend who was unable to use cones with her sewing machine. This thread stand is easily assembled and can be taken apart for easy storage. it is lightweight however and that can be somewhat of a disadvantage. It is possible to screw it to a piece of wood which would make it more stable. However, my friend was very happy with it.

Invaluable
I bought this as a gift for a friend who lives on a boat and who sews. She did not know about such things and it has proved invaluable to her. Although the dish itself is plastic and could break, the magnetic itself is very strong. Very good value for money.

Lovely cotton lawn
I bought this to sew a loose-fitting summer top and have pre-washed it. The colours are fast and there is very little shrinkage. It is a good width (56" approx) and a very pretty all over design. All in all a very good fabric at a budget price. I would definitely buy again in another design or colourway.
