It was easy to set up. So easy that it initially looked too easy and I had to resort to watching You Tube videos just to check that I wasn't being a numpty. Using it is also easy. Yes, it is noisy to a degree, but it is a vacuum cleaner at the end of the day and strong suction is needed.
The only downside that I can see is that you need to tip the whole machine on its side to empty out the reservoir; it is a heavy machine and this will not be an easy exercise when the time comes. However, I guess this highlights how robustly built the thing is.
Results wise there is a noticeable difference over hand cleaning methods. I haven't done an audio test yet but the records do come out looking very, very clean. Just one tip: buy yourself a 100ml atomiser from Boots (about £2) and use one of these to apply the diluted cleaning solution before spreading with the incredibly soft goat's hair brush.
In conclusion, it is a thing of beauty - good to look at, sturdy and easy to use.
