Damon Beyer, aka the infamous rowanknitter on ebay, was born and grew up in Lafayette Louisiana where he married his high school sweetheart, Cindy Sawyer. They have two teenage children -- Anna and Drew.

Always disappointed when directed to substitute yarns for the original colors by well meaning but poorly stocked local yarn store owners, Damon began to amass a stash of Rowan, Annabel Fox, and Alice Starmore yarns that could keep him knitting 24 x 7 for several lifetimes. Always traveling for work, he charmed his way into the secret back stocks of many of the largest yarn stores around the globe.
