The PSP 3000 an on the go console to suit just about anyone.
The PSP in my opinion is a fantastic device although I'm probably being biased having had the original PSP for many years. This PSP in comparison to the original is very light and offers better graphics and extra features such as being able to link the PSP to the TV for viewing videos on the TV, having not tried this I cannot attest to this feature. The main advantages for me that this PSP offers are: Superb Video output on a good sized screen, with which video conversion does not really take to long. Better UMD drive than the original - which after many years of use became warped. This version by the looks of it should last a good deal longer. Broad game choice especially considering the PSN (Playstation Network). Expansion slot for potentially upto 32GB for storage. Excellent Music Playback with support for Tags incl. Album artwork. Internet Browser - which is simple and easy to use but not as powerful as tablet or desktop/laptop browsers but thats to be expected. Fantastic photo viewer but limited by the devices performance when it comes to HD or high resolution images. The only downsides I have are: If you don't like the color or you feel a newer shell for the PSP is needed then there is a good deal of difficulty involved in changing the shell. There is not screen protector and one is not even supplied with the console. USB mini port has not protective cover from dust and dirt. On the whole however the PSP 3000 is a console for anyone who enjoys games on the go or just wants it to view videos or listen to music anywhere or whenever they want.

Superb OS-Vastly Improved XP/More Stable & Resource Friendly OS than Vista
I have been using Windows since 95 version, although skipped over Vista due to it's poor feedback off other users and my own experience of maintaining it on two laptops (thankfully not mine). I was content with XP at the time as it was reasonably resource friendly, easy to maintain & reliable. Windows 7 however is evidently more secure, resource friendly and just as easy to maintain and update as Windows XP a more viable upgrade from XP than Vista. Although I have not been using it all that long I can attest the following: The desktop interface is superb - the system tray is better managed, grouped application windows can be previewed before displaying and with innovative features like snap, peek and gestures more apt for touchscreens makes it just that little better. The Start-menu like vista now has jump lists which show recently accessed files for the highlighted application. Windows update as per takes considerable time and multiple restarts between updates to fully complete all updates - even after Service Pack 1 is installed. The UAC is still a niggle as times but a necessary evil as its feature provides front line protection against malware and spyware. Although its notifications can be turned off for administrative accounts if need be - not quite sure at what cost though. Libraries provide a virtual folder experience by merging public folders and a users specific folders together into one place, which is neat but can be confusing as it masks the file/folder true location. For instance in XP you had My Music in the user folder and another My Music in Shared Folder - well in Windows 7 they are still like that however you also a library called Music and if you click that then the contents of both locations are grouped into one directory, making it possible to have same named files/folders in one place. File moving speeds has been greatly improved and judging from comparison tests with other third party file movers the windows 7 copy/move utility is up there in terms of performance (speed) with very little between it and others like it. The installation of Windows 7 is very easy but having used computers and in particular windows for along as I can remember, am probably likely to find it so. Many other features I have yet to test but my overall impression of Windows 7 is a must have update for those who are Vista users and a personal upgrade choice for XP users.

The iPod Shuffle - A Simple, Compact Music Player with Unbloated Features,
The Apple Shuffle is buggy to say the least with windows XP, but does work perfectly with Vista. The issue with XP is the driver used which for me resulted in not being able to sync my iTunes library. For a big company like Apple not being able to develop a device or even a driver for one of the widely used operating systems is massive let down. On the upside the design of the shuffle has been kept simple and compact (incl. the capacity) which is a good thing, removal of a screen and a lot of other features (in comparison to its father models the original iPod/iPod Nano/iPod Touch) makes this model relatively cheap - however there are other devices that offer much more than this device for the same or similar price. One good thing about this device is the battery life which is pretty decent for a music device. On the whole the shuffle is a well designed and simple device for which suits most peoples needs but especially those whom are easy listeners and aren't bothered what track is played next rather than those whom prefer to listen to a particular band or beat at different times of the day. For me the lack of XP support and the slightly high cost for such a simple device means it give it a 3/5.
