About autism
I bought this DVD because we have already seen the film and we want our own copy.
We have a 3 year old autistic daughter and want to compile a library of DVDs and books for our own reference and to lend to friends and anyone else interested in autism.
We think that autism is portrayed very well and realistically by the boy in this film. Some things were so familiar to us that we commented that our own daughter was portrayed at times. We laughed and cried at different points in the film, and the plot was very engaging.
I recommend the film both as an entertaining experience in its own right as well as useful for anyone wanting to find out a little more about the autistic mind.
