PIONEER A400 Pretty damn good for the money. Pay around £100
A classic from the 80's and 90's. Not as good as it's made out. But excellent value at a ton.

NAIM 135 BEYOND THE LEGEND
Everyone is aware of the Naim NAP 250 - The Porsche 911 of the Hifi world. More reliable than a wood burning stove ( it won't need repair ) easier to maintain, and battleship built. A legend is an understatement. The 135s are the 250s big brother. They are everything and more. Most of all offering a better stereo image being mono blocks with their dedicated large 500 VA plus. trafos. Getting expensive and difficult to find under 2k. When upgraded makes a Naim Nap 300 the 996 of the amplifier world. Everyone wants the real thing - the 993.
