All About MeThings I sell
Business InformationPayment policy
I generally accept only Paypal as it's safer for everyone. I will accept cheques or postal orders if you ask nicely in advance!
Payment should be within 7 days of purchase - if you can't do this for any reason, please contact me and say so as I'm quite happy to be flexible as long as people ask.
Anyone not paying within 7 days and not contacting me will be reported as a non payer to eBay - sorry.
Delivery information
I try to charge a realistic price for P&P and I certainly don't aim to make extra profit from it. Please don't forget that the price you pay for postage is not all passed on to me - Paypal take a 7% cut first which means that ever £1 you pay becomes 93p when it reaches my account. If I do over-estimate, I always refund the buyers accordingly.
I only usually post using Royal Mail First Class as it tends to be more reliable. I keep the costs down wherever possible but please remember that P&P includes the costs of envelopes, sellotape, paper for printing labels and delivery notes and petrol to get to the Post Office. I use recycled packing materials where I can.
Unfortunately our local Post Office was recently closed and the next nearest branch is approx 5 miles away and not on any of our normal routes to and from home. This sometimes means there may be a slight delay in posting items, but dispatch is normally within 24 hours of receipt of payment (except at weekends).
Return policy
I don't normally offer returns but if you have a problem with your item for any reason, please contact me and let me know so we can work something out. I'm proud of my feedback rating and the few problems we've had have always been resolved to the satisfaction of the buyer.
Contact information
Please contact me through eBay as this means everything is logged and recorded so everyone is safer.
Feedback
Feedback is a vital part of the eBay experience as it allows buyers and sellers to get a clearer picture of who they are dealing with.
I always leave suitable feedback, and, when selling items I only leave feedback once it has been left for me. Unfortunately it seems there are lots of people using eBay who don't bother and I don't see why I should add to their ratings if they won't return the compliment.
Charity
Some of our listings support Wildlife Aid, a charity you may be aware of through the TV programme Wildlife SOS which is shown on Animal Planet and DMAX in the UK. Widlife Aid is dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of British wildlife that has been injured or orphaned. The charity aims to redress the balance between man and nature by caring for and preserving our native wildlife.
